Fully conceived, developed, produced, assembled, adjusted, and encased in our workshops in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland, the manufacturing process of the Manufacture collection timepieces requires extensive work. All the details are executed by hand, mostly, for the pure pleasure of the connoisseurs of high-quality watchmaking.

In the first place, a useful complication, the Worldtimer – not a creation of watchmakers for watchmakers, but a piece that will be routinely used by a wide audience. This great invention intended for exploration and travel can be used to read, instantly, the exact time in the 24 cities representing the 24 reference time zones – with, the added bonus of an immediate indication of which of them are currently experiencing night or day. New York, Bangkok, Rio de Janeiro or Dubai: each city is a beckoning to escape which, for 10 years, has carried in it the dreams of all the world's globetrotters.
The in-house self-winding FC-718 mechanical movement has a power reserve of 38 hours. It is visible through the case back, water-resistant up to 50 (stainless steel) or 30 meters (18K Gold). One can admire the typical Genevan finishes that Frederique Constant is so fond of, perlage and circular Côtes de Genève among them. Highly user-friendly, its single crown can be used to set any function: hours, minutes, the date at 6 o'clock and the 24 cities disc that represents 24 time zones on Earth, itself engraved in the centre of the piece. There is no day/night indicator required; the inner disc has been engraved with 12 hours on the light area (cities where it is daytime) and 12 hours on the blue area (those where it is night-time).
