The hands and the dial markers are luminescent, so it is easier to read the time even at night. It is mounted with a round sapphire crystal. The sapphire is very scratch resistant and very transparent. The sapphire crystal is an excellent product very well suited for dials, but a little more expensive to produce. It is only available on very high quality products where the components have been carefully chosen. The open back is a very beautiful thing that gives you the opportunity to see the mechanism and captivated by its ingenuity.
